Only 45 minutes from Chiang Rai Airport you find Ban Doi Chang, located in the mountains of Mae Suay district.

The Lisu, Yunnan and Akha people live here for more than 100 years together. These people grow rice, corn and vegetables. But more over they grow real Arabica Coffee for their main economics. The coffee is the best quality and is being sold throughout the country.

In the middle of Ban Doi Chang, where 6,000 people live, you find Doi Chang Resort. The owner, khun Chome (Lisu) created a very nice and peaceful resort for those who want to experience the real atmosphere of the Lisu community. The views from Ban Doi Chang are magnificent.
